Hi, our names are Alex Brandimore and John Lee. We founded the Closing Class to provide agents and investors with one-stop shopping for Real Estate Coaching and Education.
Alex's Story
After following the traditional American dream and earning a doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, there came a day where I realized (most distressingly) that I could not leave any part of my career as a professor to my children. It shook me to my core and prompted an all out pursuit of proven ways to invest. I found that real estate investing was the most interesting and accessible wealth building vehicle for me and my husband. After thousands of hours of education, podcasts, property management, renovations and mentoring I now have a strong portfolio that includes short term rentals, long-term rentals, section-8 housing, flips, affordable housing via manufactured homes and more.
From a side-hustle to full time, my overarching goal is to give people like me the confidence to move forward on their financial independence journey through real estate. Together with John, we have turned our personal journeys and transformations into an easy-to-follow system that anyone can use to unlock their full potential and start enjoying life like never before! Who wants to make some of the biggest decisions we make in this life alone, or without mentorship? Not me. Welcome to The Closing Class!
John's Story
Real estate has been part of my life from the beginning. Early in my career, I worked alongside family members managing a diverse investment portfolio that included neighborhood shopping centers, franchise out-parcels, more than 250,000 square feet of industrial space, new construction projects, and residential rental properties. That hands-on exposure built a practical foundation in underwriting, leasing, asset management, and deal execution across multiple asset classes.
In 2014, I relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida to build my own path in the industry. I had the opportunity to learn the day-to-day realities of agency work directly from two of the area’s top-producing agents, gaining firsthand experience in prospecting, client management, negotiation, and transaction execution. Immersing myself in a highly competitive market, I earned responsibility through performance and developed a disciplined, execution-focused approach that continues to guide my work today.
In 2024, my wife and I moved to Fort Myers to be closer to family and to raise our children alongside their cousins. Today, I lead several real estate ventures, including an investment firm focused on multifamily acquisitions and development, a title company supporting residential and commercial transactions, and a land-development business delivering affordable manufactured housing solutions in rural markets.
The Closing Class was created to share what actually works in real estate. It is a practical coaching and education platform built for agents and investors who want clarity, structure, and real-world execution. The program distills decades of hands-on experience into a disciplined framework for evaluating opportunities, managing risk, and confidently guiding transactions from initial conversation to successful closing.
